PIZ dispensers are snowmen topped upon a candy dispensing machine, with the candies themselves being sentient, which love to target whatever is living and most sock-like they see and target them. Their heads turning straight upwards does not hurt them, since the hinge put in place was built for that exact purpose, so there's no issue there, but there is an issue if you were to break that hinge, since their head would probably fall right off. not that it matters.
