Segmesnakes are segmented snakes that live pastoral lives and have no worries for much. that is unless their hat is lost, then they lose all sense of reason and get sent on the warpath, which, consequently involves them going around causing harm, scorched earth, y'know the drill. They don't really have control over losing their hat leading to them becoming so violent, they just try and stop the issue from arising in the first place.
Fun Fact: Many may inquire about *why* it is losing their hats is so impactful to these creatures, and the answer is that it was given to them by their mother it's their only memory of her or something, insert link to the pokemon entry on Cubone, its just that.
