SwitchBricks are sentient 2x2 yellow BuildersBricks™. I would call them a hivemind, but that would imply them to have a collective *intelligence*, which they sorely lack, but for lack of a better term they do share a collective conscience. They live their lives very carefree, not much to worry about being little blocks after all.
Fun Fact: unlike many other brick-based enemies/hazards/mechanics, SwitchBricks do not cause you harm, stepping on them or not, what nice guys! Though if you ask me, it may be from the smoothness of their brain carrying over to their ability to be sharp in any meaningful way.
