welcome to post #1 of me working on 'sockums saves the world' this site, and this video, show very early work, but are here mainly to document the process of making this game! so in the video provided, i have the basic movement and movement sprites, aswell as collisons.
I PLAN to figure out how to not be a moron at coding stuff, so I hope to have separate animations for him walking, Aswell as sprinting, which will require me to rework the movement system i set up a bunch, but in the end that's more sockums I have to draw, so it's gotta be a good thing.
As for the website itself, its going great! i've been doing Bearly's character page first, because it seemed the most straightforward. Heres the site background in its full glory, as some of it is easy to miss:
